As it turns out, NeNe Leakes is not at all happy that Wendy Williams revealed she’s quitting the Real Housewives of Atlanta on her talk show. In reality, her future on the series is still to be determined at this point in time.
Leakes is really upset since Williams made a private conversation they had public and so, it looks like the two women are feuding now.
One source tells HollywoodLife that ‘NeNe was blindsided by Wendy’s comment on her show because she did not text Wendy saying that she was quitting The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. She found the whole thing just confusing. It was really unexpected. NeNe reached out to Wendy after the fact via a text asking her to clarify what her comments were about.’
As you may remember, Wendy told her audience and to guest Jerry O’Connell yesterday that NeNe had sent her a text reading: ‘I’m quitting.’
Later on, a rep addressed the shocking reveal, clearing things out.
As it turns out, nothing’s been decided as far as NeNe’s future on the show is concerned and so, the text was nothing more than just her ‘venting to her friend in private correspondence.’
Since Wendy hurried to make that private conversation public, it’s safe to say that NeNe doesn’t really see her as a friend anymore.
That’s even worse given the fact that they used to have drama in the past and only recently made peace. Well, it was really short-lived, wasn’t it?

The insider also went on to mention that ‘NeNe’s had a really tough few weeks. She has gotten a lot of heat lately and the fights have really been hard on her. Due to the recent Housewives episodes with all of the fighting that is going on, she is being attacked from all sides whether it is the other cast members, fans and on social media. It has been nonstop and it’s hard. She is being villainized for someone else’s gain and she is really over it.’
